Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Join a forward-thinking tech business where innovation, agility, and collaboration are at the heart of everything. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing and maintaining secure, scalable cloud platforms that power enterprise-level applications.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Designing and implementing secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
Automating infrastructure with Terraform or CloudFormation (IaC).
Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments.
Embedding governance, security, and compliance into cloud solutions.
Partnering with development teams to create cloud-native applications.
Monitoring and optimising infrastructure for performance and cost.
Researching and integrating new AWS services and third-party tools.
Producing clear documentation for standards and operations.

Main Skills Needed:

5+ years’ experience building and managing AWS-based infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of AWS core services (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda).
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Proficiency in scripting/programming (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
Solid understanding of Linux, networking, and distributed systems.
Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of cloud security principles and compliance frameworks.
AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, Terraform Associate) desirable.
