Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Automation Engineer with strong expertise in PowerShell scripting, along with proficiency in Python and SQL. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Ansible, CI/CD tools, and various enterprise technologies including ServiceNow, Docker, and Microsoft 365. This role involves developing automation solutions, integrating systems, and streamlining IT operations using modern DevOps practices.

Mandatory Skills

Programming Languages:

PowerShell – Strong scripting experience (must-have)
Python – Automation and data parsing
SQL – Querying and database interaction

Tools & Technologies

Ansible / Ansible AWX – Configuration management and automation
ServiceNow – Integration and workflow automation
REST API – Consuming and building RESTful services
Docker – Containerization
CI/CD Pipelines – Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins or similar tools
Version Control – Git, Bitbucket
Microsoft Technologies –
- Active Directory (AD)
- Exchange Online
- Microsoft 365 (M365)

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and workflows using PowerShell and Python.
Build and manage Ansible playbooks and AWX templates for infrastructure automation.
Create and manage CI/CD pipelines integrating with Bitbucket/Git and other tools.
Implement integration solutions with ServiceNow and REST APIs.
Administer and automate tasks related to Active Directory, Exchange Online, and Microsoft 365 environments.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient automation solutions.
Troubleshoot and optimize performance of automated workflows and infrastructure components.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
Familiarity with security best practices in scripting and automation.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.
