As a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer, you’ll be joining our team of talented experts. The right candidate will possess the following experience:

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain a custom cloud CLI tool to streamline internal cloud operations and workflows
Build and manage scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure on AWS
Develop automation solutions using Python to improve provisioning, deployment, and monitoring processes
Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
Collaborate with engineering teams to standardize cloud practices and improve developer experience
Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform or similar.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud resources for cost and efficiency
Ensure cloud environments follow security best practices and compliance standards
Contribute to documentation, tooling standards, and internal platform strategy

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles
Strong experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, RDS, etc.)
Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and tool development
Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation
Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)
Familiarity with REST APIs and CLI tool design patterns
Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and IAM concepts
Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows

Preferred Qualifications

Experience building or maintaining developer tools or CLI applications
Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes)
Knowledge of observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus)
Experience with multi-account AWS environments and governance strategies
Background in DevOps or platform engineering practices
