Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving our cloud infrastructure and application deployment processes. As an AWS DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on the AWS platform. You will collaborate closely with development, QA, and IT operations teams to automate and streamline the software delivery lifecycle.

Responsibilities

* Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.

* Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or AWS CodePipeline to automate the software build, test, and deployment processes.

* Implement and manage configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet to ensure consistent system configurations.

* Optimize AWS resources for cost-efficiency and performance, leveraging tools like AWS Cost Explorer.

* Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions using AWS CloudWatch, to ensure system health and performance.

* Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues in a timely manner.

* Collaborate with development teams to identify and implement automation opportunities.

* Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and best practices.

Qualifications

* Proven experience as an AWS DevOps Engineer with a strong understanding of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, etc.).

* Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or AWS CodePipeline.

* Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

* Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet.

* Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

* Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.

* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

* Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

* AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)

* Experience with AWS Lambda, ECS, or EKS.

* Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK Stack).

* Experience with Agile development methodologies.
