My Client is a leading stable firm in Singapore.

Role Overview

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to drive the development and implementation of automated software and infrastructure delivery across our platforms. This role requires a business-focused, collaborative DevSecOps engineer with excellent communication skills, capable of working closely with developers to implement DevOps principles.

Key Responsibilities

Promote and support agile delivery processes and techniques.
Collaborate with architects, developers, testers, and operations teams to automate the build, deployment, and release processes for applications both on-premises and in the cloud.
Develop and implement CI/CD and observability tools, offering guidance on best practices for software deployment and development.
Assist in designing Microservices using containerization and serverless technologies where appropriate.
Lead efforts in automating environment management, logging, and monitoring.
Build and nurture strong relationships with vendors and service providers, influencing products and services to benefit the company, negotiating favorable terms, and optimizing the use of external resources.
Perform additional duties as needed to support business objectives.

Experience and Competencies

Essential:

Extensive experience with AWS Cloud services and general DevOps principles.
Proficiency with platforms such as Windows Server, Amazon Linux, RHEL, and Ubuntu.
Expertise in at least one programming language, with working knowledge of another: C# (.NET Framework/Core), Python, Java, JavaScript (Node.js), Ruby, or C++.
Proficiency in one or more scripting languages: Python, GO, PowerShell, Bash, or Groovy.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, and CloudBees.
Knowledge of containerization, including Dockerfile creation and container deployment in EKS.
Strong understanding of pipelines as code.
Experience with observability tools including OpenSearch, Cribl, Logstash, Kibana, Fluentbit, Grafana, and CloudWatch.
Proven experience working with agile teams.

Desired:

Understanding of market and economic trends.
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders outside of immediate teams to achieve goals.
Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and a proactive approach.
Comfort in fast-paced or high-pressure environments.
