Main Sail is seeking a well-rounded DevSecOps Engineer to support a U.S. Navy initiative aimed at improving supply chain security and resilience. Using agile methodologies and state-of-the-art DevSecOps practices, you will deliver rapid, impactful solutions that enhance visibility and mitigate risks in critical supply chains through advanced technologies like digital twins and blockchain.The ideal candidate will support efforts related to automation and infrastructure, security implementation, technical compliance and governance, incident monitoring and response, enhancement and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities

Support automation, infrastructure, security, compliance, incident response, and CI/CD pipeline enhancement.
Automate processes, implement infrastructure as code, and leverage cloud and containerization for efficiency.
Provide general support for systems and software deployment, troubleshooting, and configuration.
Integrate security tools and practices into CI/CD pipelines
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) using tools like Terraform and Ansible
Implement and maintain security controls by DoD standards such as NIST SP 80053, DISA STIGs, and the DoD Enterprise DevSecOps Reference Design
Maintain and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure and cloud-based resources
Integrate DevSecOps tools and services to enable automated pipelines that support customer applications throughout their SDLC
Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams and contribute to the development of DevSecOps strategies and roadmaps

Experience And Qualifications

IA System Architecture and Engineer (IASAE) Level II Certification (CASP, CISSP, CSSSLP) Highly Desirable.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or technical degree or industry experience equivalent
At least 3 years of demonstrated experience providing technical guidance to other engineers on automation/build tools, Version Control, CI/CD, CM, and Monitoring tools
Hands-on experience in any of the following roles or practice areas: CI/CD, DevSecOps, AWS Cloud Infrastructure, Kubernetes, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Automation for System Administration and Operations
Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices for building services in Cloud-based IaaS/PaaS/SaaS environments
Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to support the deployment, troubleshooting, configuration, and interoperability of systems and software
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash or Python
Experience developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) solutions using tools like Packer, Terraform, Ansible, and Helm
Proficiency in working with Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) is a plus.

Period of Performance: January 2025, January 2026 (1 Year), with possible extensions.
