Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Cloud Engineer to join our growing IT team in Florida. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to build hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps practices. You will assist in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based solutions primarily in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in deploying and managing cloud infrastructure in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Monitor cloud systems performance, availability, and security.
Support migration of on-premises applications to cloud platforms.
Configure virtual machines, storage, networking, and cloud services.
Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines.
Troubleshoot cloud-related issues and provide technical support.
Maintain documentation of cloud architecture and procedures.
Follow security best practices and compliance standards (HIPAA, SOC 2, etc., if applicable).

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs).
Familiarity with Linux and/or Windows Server environments.
Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
Understanding of virtualization and containerization (Docker is a plus).
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications

AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, or similar certification.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
Knowledge of Git and version control systems.
Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
Internship or academic project experience in cloud computing.
