AWS Infrastructure Engineer

A global quantitative investment firm is seeking an AWS Infrastructure Engineer to join its Cloud Infrastructure team. The role involves designing, building, and supporting cloud-based solutions that meet diverse business needs. You'll work closely with trading, research, and other teams to drive cloud adoption and implement a cloud-first approach. Cloud infrastructure underpins key areas including research, trading, execution, and data processing.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement secure, scalable AWS infrastructure
Automate infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation
Monitor and optimize performance and cost
Support application deployment and operations
Recommend technologies to improve reliability and scalability
Troubleshoot AWS-related issues

Qualifications:

Strong experience with AWS (EC2, S3, VPC, etc.)
Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash)
Familiar with tools like Ansible and Terraform
Experience with containers (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes)
Skilled in cloud monitoring and performance tuning
Understanding of agile development practices
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
5+ years of experience in AWS environment
