We are seeking an experienced DevOps Lead with a robust background in cloud services and infrastructure automation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS), and a solid foundation in DevOps practices. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

Mentor junior developers in adopting and implementing DevOps practices.
Provide technical guidance and support to the development team.
Work closely with developers to understand software requirements and integrate DevOps practices seamlessly.
Ensure smooth and efficient collaboration between development and operations teams.
Oversee routine system maintenance and upgrades.
Diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and optimize system performance.
Document all processes and monitor performance metrics.
Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
Ensure network administration and cybersecurity best practices are followed.
Manage IT security compliance and cloud security.
Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on GCP and AWS.
Implement cost-effective strategies for infrastructure management.
Troubleshoot software infrastructure issues and work collaboratively to resolve them.
Utilize shell or Python scripting for automation.
Maintain source code on Git version control.
Work in an Agile environment to deliver results efficiently.
Configure and manage databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, RDS.
Set up and maintain Master-Slave configurations for databases.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Implement best practices to enhance software infrastructure.

Required Skills:

Extensive experience with GCP and AWS.
Proficiency in Linux, Jenkins, and CI/CD processes.
Strong knowledge of cloud services (7-8 years).
Deep understanding of DevOps practices (7-8 years).
Experience with Infrastructure as a Service (IAAS) and Infrastructure as Code (IAAC).
Hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible.
Proficient in shell or Python scripting (Python preferred).
Proficient in Git.
Solid understanding of cloud security and IT security compliance.
Experience with database management (MySQL preferred).
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Docker.
Ability to implement cost-effective strategies for infrastructure management.
Team handling experience is a must.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum 8-10 years overall experience.
Experience with additional databases such as MongoDB and Redis.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
