Primary Skill
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design and implement infrastructure using tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI
• Configuration Management: Use configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet to automate server provisioning and configuration.
• Monitoring and Logging: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• Security and Compliance: Ensure security best practices are followed, including IAM policies, network security, encryption, and compliance with industry standards.
• Containerization and Orchestration: Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes or AWS/Azure ECS/EKS.
• Automation and Scripting: Write scripts using languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to support the software development lifecycle and ensure smooth deployment of applications.
• Cost Optimization: Monitor and optimize to ensure cost efficiency.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve infrastructure-related issues and performance bottlenecks.
Technical Skills:
• Proficiency with cloud services.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI. AWS/Azure CodePipeline).
• Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS).
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Understanding of monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
• Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
• Experience with serverless architecture and microservices.
• Knowledge of database management and optimization.
• Experience with agile methodologies and tools (Scrum, Kanban, Jira).
• Understanding of hybrid cloud environments and multi-cloud strategies.
