We are looking for GCP DevOps Engineer for a Full Time position to join our team at Globant.

Role and Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure on GCP, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, etc.
CI/CD Pipelines:
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Google Cloud Build.
Monitoring & Logging:
Implement and manage monitoring tools (e.g., Google Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus) and centralized logging systems (e.g., Stackdriver, ELK) to ensure system health and performance.
Automation & Configuration Management:
Automate the deployment process using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Security Best Practices:
Ensure cloud security by implementing best practices such as IAM (Identity and Access Management), VPC configurations, encryption, and vulnerability scanning.
Collaboration:
Work closely with development teams to support application deployment, performance tuning, and debugging in the cloud environment.
Troubleshooting & Support:
- Provide ongoing operational support by diagnosing and troubleshooting issues across various GCP environments and services.
Experience Required:
Strong proficiency in GCP services (Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, etc.)
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Proficient in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Google Cloud Build
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)
Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar
Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
