Title: Azure Cloud Engineer Location: Dallas, TX (remote) Duration: 6+ Months Essential Functions:
- At least 2+ years of Linux system administration with high volume web sites and understanding of .Net framework hosted in Microsoft Azure.
Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
Employ best practices to continuously improve quality assurance and release
automation within an agile development framework
Focus of secure network engineering
Optimize cloud resources utilization to achieve optimum ROI
Provide IT OPS support as Systems Engineer
Software Configuration Management (SCM)
Define and document standards and operating procedures
Empower and support development teams to stay agile with automated Ops
processes
Develop understanding of .Net/PHP codebase to support deployment and
infrastructure activities
Ability to be available for oncall & maintain confidentiality
Scripting with powershell, bash, or python (may consider others)
Desired skills: Strong experience with Azure and .net: webapps, MS-SQL
Strong experience with LAMP stack
CI / CD Processes
Ansible, Terraform
Networking concepts like load balancing, gateways, TLS,
SSL management,
virtual networks, subnets, routers in the cloud environment.
