What you will be responsible for:
- Maintains, monitors, and supports the infrastructure environment and/or facilities.
- Supports multiple systems or applications of medium to complex (complexity defined by size, technology used, and system feeds and interfaces) with multiple concurrent users, ensuring control, integrity, and accessibility.
- Acts as the technical liaison between operations teams, engineers, and architects, providing critical operational insight to upcoming implementations and strategies, including validation of ongoing solutions supportability.
- Participates in the design, implementation, and execution of backup and disaster recovery plans for infrastructure solutions.
- Actively monitors and publishes the availability plan, discussing the ability of the IT infrastructure to meet the availability requirements of the business.
- Monitors application/database performance and recommends changes.
What you will bring to Maropost:
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps/Infrastructure.
- A degree in B.Tech/BE required
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Should have hands on experience in cloud technologies, AWS (Amazon Web Services) and GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
- Should have working experience in docker containers and Dockerfile
- Should have working experience in Kubernetes orchestration.
- Should have working experience with infrastructure orchestration tools (Terraform)
- Should have working experience in code deployment tools (Puppet, Ansible)
- Should have working experience in CI/CD pipelines, software-automation production systems (Build Kite, Jenkins,)
- Should have understanding on versioning tools like Git, GitHub or Bitbucket
- Should have working experience with observability and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic)
- Should have good understanding in UNIX based operating systems
