DevOps Engineer

Salary: $160,000 - $230,000 (Based on Experience)

We’ve partnered with an ambitious health tech start-up who are currently seeking a DevOps Engineer to build and maintain infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and security systems, with a 70/30 DevOps-to-backend split. You'll work on optimising AWS environments, improving observability, and ensuring system reliability at an enterprise scale.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Automate Cloud infrastructure provisioning
- Implement observability tools (OpenTelemetry, DataDog, Grafana).
- Manage incident response and resolution.
- Optimise AWS costs with autoscaling and savings plans.
- Ensure SOC2 compliance and security best practices.
- Enhance authentication systems (JWT, SSO/SAML, IAM).
- Contribute to backend development in Node.JS and TypeScript.
Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of AWS experience preferred – Azure and GCP experience also welcome
• Strong CI/CD expertise (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible)
• Incident management & debugging
• SOC2 compliance & security
