Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage Azure infrastructure to support web-deployed networked applications.
- Ensure the infrastructure meets the required security standards and protocols.
- Implement data encryption protocols to secure communication between the frontend and backend servers.
- Monitor and maintain network performance, security, and availability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless integration of the backend infrastructure with the frontend application.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in network security and infrastructure management.
- Provide documentation and training to team members on network setup and security protocols.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in setting up and managing Azure infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of network security principles and data encryption protocols.
- Experience with web-deployed networked applications.
- Familiarity with Unity for WebGL and other platforms is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with networking for game applications developed in Unity.
- Knowledge of other cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.
Certifications in Azure or network security are highly desirable
