Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Azure DevOps and a strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for managing and automating our deployment pipelines, ensuring compliance with security standards, and collaborating with various teams to drive deployments and maintain our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines and releases, including handling Azure Key vault, certificate management, and service connections.
- Drive deployments, triage deployment issues before involving engineers and collaborate with engineering, quality and partner teams, create and maintain build/release pipelines, and ensure compliance with Pipelines, MOBR, S360, and SDL.
- Keep track of planned service deployments, manage continuous integration pipelines.
- Work with Entra Managed Identity and Federated Identity Credentials and migrate Azure resources to use managed identities or secret rotator tools.
- Perform secret rotations, manage certificates and secrets for service principals, PATs, clusters, and applications, and perform certificate and password rotations to prevent expiry.
- Utilize Azure DevOps and Azure Portal for deployments and auto-scaling; implement and manage Power Automate workflows.
- Maintain and update operational dashboards and queries using Jarvis, Power BI, Geneva, and Kusto, and keep operational Troubleshooting Guides (Wiki) up to date.
- Deploy builds in test environments, troubleshoot and resolve deployment failures, monitor test results, track bugs, and ensure they are fixed in the next iteration.
- Monitor and manage auto-scale settings, gather information to debug active issues, and engage in active incidents.
- Monitor dashboards for unusual patterns, fix or dispatch automated KPIs, and maintain a list of follow-ups identified in the WSR/MSR.
- Troubleshoot and resolve deployment failures, manage ADO pipelines and their components, and troubleshoot and fix errors in project pipelines such as pull request builds, rolling builds, and release pipelines.
- Improve pipeline performance as needed, ensure all pipelines comply with company security policies, and migrate and upgrade ADO tasks to support workload identity credentials.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer
- Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps, Azure Portal, and related technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD processes and tools.
- Familiarity with Power Automate, Power BI, Geneva, and Kusto.
- Proficiency in Azure, PowerShell, YAML, ARM Templates, and Azure DevOps Pipelines.
- Experience with Entra-Managed Identity and Federated Identity Credentials.
- Knowledge of MOBR, S360, and SDL compliance standards.
- Familiarity with secret rotations and certification management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Compensation / Salary Range: The typical pay for this role across the U.S. is: $75,000 - $85,000 per annum. Factors that may affect pay within or outside of this range may include but not limited to geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
