Cloud performance engineer
Work closely with the CRC team about Cloud performance. The project team has a strong Cloud culture using and developing state-of-the-art tools like Virtual Client. The project team provides E2E service to its customers utilizing coding, scripting and Cloud operations - including onboarding, and analysis of workloads or experiments. Execution of test cases to measure performance of Cloud VMs. Analyze results of the tests, report bugs. Troubleshooting hardware, software perf bottlenecks.
Skillset:
Proficient in any of C#, Java, C/C++, Golang, RUST or equivalent. C# preferred.
Proficient in any of bash, PowerShell, Windows CMD/BAT, or equivalent.
Familiarity with any major Cloud – preferred.
Hands-on experience with TCP/IP, VMs, and any database (SQL or NoSQL).
Problem solving skills!
Diligence, attention to details.
Strong drive and passion for getting things done.
Good communication skills - verbally and in writing.
Can work across 12-hour time zone.
Can work independently and in a team setting.
Experience performing Cloud VM benchmarking for Microsoft Azure and other Cloud providers.

The potential compensation for this role is based on labor costs in local markets, as well as the job-related skills, knowledge and experience of the candidate. Expected base pay for this role ranges from [$95,000] to [$110,000].
