Job Role:
We are seeking a dedicated DevOps Engineer (AWS) to join our team and contribute to the continuous integration and deployment processes. The role will focus on designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines, while ensuring optimal performance and reliability of cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with development teams to promote best practices and streamline deployment processes.
We are looking for a candidates with 2 to 3 years of experience.
Plus Points: (Nice To Have)
- AWS certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, etc.).
- Familiarity with service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd.
- Experience with API Gateway, service discovery, and inter-service communication for microservices.
- Knowledge of cloud-native monitoring and logging tools such as Cloud Watch, Prometheus, or ELK stack.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Preference will be given to candidates from Ahmedabad, or Gujarat State, or nearby cities. Applicants from outside Gujarat are requested not to apply for this position.
Role + Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using a variety of tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for both web and mobile applications.
- Utilize infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Cloud Formation to manage cloud environments.
- Conduct applied research, prototyping, and experimentation with new approaches to CI/CD.
- Oversee the configuration and deployment of multi-tier cloud infrastructure to ensure reliability and performance, particularly on AWS or Azure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues across various environments within tight timelines.
- Manage release cycles, ensuring proper configurations and maintenance of deployments.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, sharing knowledge, and adopting best practices within the team.
- Exhibit adaptability, and be proactive in proposing and implementing innovative solutions.
Person Specification & Qualification:
- Strong experience with Docker, Docker Compose, and cloud-based container technologies is essential.
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, AWS CI/CD, and cloud technologies.
- Intermediate-level expertise with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms, such as Azure DevOps or AWS Code Pipeline.
- Proficient in configuring and managing web server environments such as IIS, Apache, or Nginx.
- Solid programming and scripting skills, with proficiency in languages like Node.js or Python.
- Strong experience in version control systems like Git, SVN, or TFS.
- Familiarity with build tools for both web and mobile platforms.
- Experience working with multiple IDEs (Visual Studio, VS Code, Eclipse) and relevant plugins.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills and a problem-solving mindset.
