Our company is seeking a skilled
remote Lead DevOps with a minimum of 5 years of experience in AWS to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in cloud engineering, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm.
As a Lead DevOps, you will be working on a retail and distribution project, responsible for maintaining and operating high-availability, fault-tolerant applications in production, diagnosing and troubleshooting user-facing service outages, as well as developing and implementing a culture of operational maturity.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain high-availability, fault-tolerant applications in production
- Troubleshoot and diagnose user-facing service outages
- Collaborate with team members near and far to ensure successful project delivery
- Develop and instill a culture of operational maturity
- Build web services and clients using REST
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in AWS and DevOps
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Hands-on experience with cloud engineering, AWS containers, Kubernetes, and Terraform
- Proficiency in Helm, Docker, and Jenkins
- Experience in Linux, Kibana, and Grafana
- Experience in diagnosing and solving user-facing service outages
- Ability to work with Gitlab CI and hands-on experience in Bash
- Must have experience with database systems such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
- B2+ English level
