Description:
The DevOps Lead will drive the migration of applications from Azure to OpenShift, ensuring a seamless transition while optimizing the platform for performance, security, and scalability. This role requires a strategic thinker and technical leader with hands-on expertise in OpenShift and Kubernetes.
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the migration strategy from Azure to OpenShift, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Architect and design OpenShift infrastructure tailored to business needs, focusing on scalability, high availability, and security.
- Lead and mentor the engineering team in implementing OpenShift best practices and DevOps methodologies.
- Optimize OpenShift clusters for performance, security, and resource utilization.
- Develop and manage OpenShift GitOps CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployments.
- Ensure network security, logging, and monitoring are effectively implemented across OpenShift environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in DevOps and platform automation.
Required Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of Azure and OpenShift with experience in designing and leading OpenShift-based solutions.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and Docker for infrastructure automation.
- Proven track record of leading OpenShift migrations and optimizing enterprise containerized environments.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD methodologies (GitOps, ArgoCD, Tekton, Jenkins, etc.).
- Experience with container security, RBAC, network policies, and compliance in OpenShift.
- Red Hat OpenShift certification is highly desirable.
