About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Architect to lead our DevOps initiatives, infrastructure, and practices. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software architecture and Azure cloud architecture, with a proven track record in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient systems. This position is pivotal in aligning development, operations, and deployment processes seamlessly and defining the organization’s cloud-native architecture and DevOps roadmap. You will help foster a culture of innovation, automation, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Architectural Design:
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient software architectures within the Azure cloud ecosystem.
- Provide technical leadership in the design and development of cloud-native and hybrid system
DevOps Strategy:
- Develop and implement best practices for CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and containerization.
- Define and maintain strategies for high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
Automation and Tooling:
- Automate deployment pipelines, configuration management, and system monitoring.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement DevOps tools to optimize efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
Collaboration and Leadership:
- Collaborate closely with engineering, IT, and product teams to align architectural and technical strategies with business goals.
- Mentor and guide development and operations teams in adopting and integrating DevOps best practices.
Cloud Expertise:
- Manage and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure to achieve high performance, security, and cost optimization.
- Implement advanced networking, identity management, and monitoring solutions within Azure.
Monitoring and Optimization (Observability):
- Establish and promote observability practices, ensuring system reliability and performance.
- Conduct regular reviews and optimization efforts to ensure scalability and cost-effectiveness of systems.
Required Skills and Experience
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps, software architecture, and Azure cloud technologies.
- Expertise in designing scalable, resilient, and secure software architectures.
- Hands-on experience in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines) and infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, ARM/Bicep).
- In-depth expertise in Azure cloud services such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure DevOps, Azure Monitoring tools.
- Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Solid understanding of network architecture, cloud security best practices, and governance frameworks.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in mentoring and building high-performance teams.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting technical strategies to stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures.
- Familiarity with observability tools like New Relic, Azure Application Insights, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Previous experience in leading large-scale cloud migration and DevOps transformation projects.
- Background in software development and architecture design.
- Experience in Distributed Multi-Tenant SaaS DevOps and infrastructure design.
