Responsibilities
Arcfield is looking for a Systems Engineer to join our team to provide cloud engineering and administration in support of the Sponsor’s Enterprise Cloud, including overall system operation, optimization, and management, while ensuring compliance with ODNI cybersecurity requirements. The selected candidate will require privileged user accesses and will be in coordination with Sponsor IT and ODNI CIO.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Assist with a Requirements Review Report (RRR) of the Sponsor’s Enterprise Cloud to factor in, at a minimum, stakeholder needs, new and/or evolving requirements (to include gaps), and recommendations to address requirements
- Support a draft Project Execution Plan with the government-approved requirements, and asst with executing against the approved plan, to include a Proof of Concept
- Assist with, managing, maintaining, and updating Sponsor’s secure, unclassified cloud infrastructure environment (IEC) withing the Sponsor’s approved scope for the IEC
- Coordinate with Sponsor POCs transitioning complete research program artifacts (e.g., data, algorithms, etc.) to the IEC supporting transition efforts, storage, data sharing, and technical demonstrations
- Research cloud-focused solutions translating Sponsor’s user needs into technical requirements and provide the technical options/recommendations for government consideration. Execute government-approved solutions
- Assist with compliance assessments, resolving issues, verifying certification and program compliance, and support remediation strategies for consideration in support of the IEC’s Authority to Develop/Operate (ATD/ATO)
- Document standard operating procedures for Government review
- Troubleshoot IEC-related issues and documenting resolutions for government consideration
- Assist with dashboards and reports supporting government oversight and measure performance, compliance, risks of IT investments
Qualifications
- Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree (or 3/+ equivalent experience) in a relevant field with a minimum of 8 years' experience
- Experience with researching and implementing new IT-related technologies
- Prior experience supporting IT strategies to enhance efficiency
- Expertise with identifying IT capability gaps
- Demonstrated expertise with performing Service Desk responsibilities
- Strong understanding of IT compliance and regulations, to include IC and DoD cybersecurity requirements
- Knowledge and working expertise with multiple cloud providers and infrastructures
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook)
- Excellence in diplomatic, organizational time management, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
Equal Pay Act
This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
