As an
Azure Cloud Engineer, you will use cutting-edge cloud and data technologies to streamline services to our clients. Join our team of Cloud professionals and accomplish what others only dream of.
What You Will Be Doing
- Guiding the design and implementation of secure solutions and services across the client’s business and IT support areas
- Employ excellent client-facing and consulting skills to create innovative business solutions based on your network and systems experience
- Define and implement secure networking solutions between on-premises data centers and commercial clouds
- Develop solutions integrating Microsoft Azure commercial clouds (public and government community) with services hosted on-premises and in other clouds
- Develop and maintain software solutions/scripts to support automation of cloud configuration and administration
- Implement AIS cloud infrastructure solution offerings based on public cloud, private cloud, hybrid client environments, and multi-cloud environments
- Support security audits, accreditation, and certification processes, and obtaining authority to operate (ATO) for cloud-based system architectures
- Set quality standards for tools, techniques, and methodologies, advising on their application, and ensuring compliance
Location and Travel Details
This is a remote position with occasional travel.
Required For This Opportunity
- 3 years of experience in Exchange administration, support, or related IT roles.
- Strong knowledge of Exchange Online, Exchange Hybrid, and Microsoft 365 GCC-High environments.
- Familiarity with mail flow troubleshooting, retention policies, and security compliance frameworks.
- Understanding of Exchange permissions, security models, and governance best practices.
- Experience troubleshooting Exchange performance, connectivity, and user access issues.
- Proficiency with PowerShell for Exchange administration.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of M365 security and compliance features, including data loss prevention (DLP), eDiscovery, and conditional access policies.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and administrative tasks.
- Familiarity with Azure Active Directory (AAD) and its integration with M365 services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a remote team environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate, or equivalent, are highly desirable.
Nice To Have Skills
- Experience with hybrid environments and migrations from on-premises to cloud.
- Microsoft 365 or Exchange-related certifications (e.g., MS-203, MS-100, or equivalent).
- Experience with migration tools for Exchange and Microsoft 365.
- Knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Teams, and compliance integrations.
- Exposure to scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or other relevant tools.
- Understanding of ITIL principles and practices.
