Job Summary
We are seeking a
Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in
Amazon DCV and
AWS ParallelCluster to join our team in Houston, TX. This role is focused on high-performance computing (HPC) and 3D visualization workflows, particularly for seismic applications. You will be responsible for configuring and managing
Amazon DCV environments, implementing security policies, and optimizing
Linux and
Windows VDIs for visualization workflows. If you have 12+ years of cloud infrastructure experience, strong
AWS skills, and deep knowledge of HPC environments, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities
- Set up, configure, and maintain Amazon DCV for Windows and Linux VDIs.
- Manage Amazon DCV pools for shared Linux VDIs supporting HPC seismic workflows.
- Customize and maintain Windows images with AWS ParallelCluster for 3D visualization.
- Implement Amazon DCV Connection Gateway for secure external access.
- Establish and enforce DCV OS standards, naming conventions, and security policies.
- Configure and support Linux visualization VDIs for seismic workflows.
- Maintain AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2, VPC, IAM, and related services.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering.
- Hands-on expertise with Amazon DCV and VDI setup.
- Deep knowledge of AWS ParallelCluster for customized 3D visualization workflows.
- Strong background in Linux and Windows VDI management.
- Experience with HPC seismic workflows and Linux visualization nodes.
- Ability to implement security policies and manage external access via Amazon DCV Connection Gateway.
- Proficiency in AWS cloud services, including EC2, VPC, IAM, and related infrastructure.
