Job Description
Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a cloud infrastructure engineer, with at least 2+ years of building cloud-native containerized solutions with GCP/AWS
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform
• Strong working knowledge of Linux/UNIX, Docker & Networking
• Programming skills with Python, Java, Go, or any other language
• Good experience on Compute and Storage services in Cloud (GCP/AWS)
Overview:
The Public Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will be instrumental in defining architecture, implementing engineering processes & best practices to build the foundational infrastructure required for application hosting in the public cloud. The ideal candidate has experience with one or more cloud providers, preferably GCP or AWS, strong experience with professional Infrastructure as Code development with Terraform, designing, and creating highly available, scalable & resilient core infrastructure services. Advanced industry knowledge is key, with experience in lift & shift as well as building cloud-native enterprise solutions that align with best security practices & industry standards. The candidate must have experience with the automated deployment of these solutions using CI/CD pipelines.
Job Duties:
• Define and implement cloud infrastructure architecture and best practices
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Build and maintain highly available, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure solutions
• Work with cloud providers (GCP/AWS) to deploy and manage containerized applications
• Ensure alignment with best security practices and industry standards
• Utilize automation and CI/CD pipelines for deployment of cloud-based solutions
