We are seeking a skilled
DevOps Engineer to drive automation, streamline workflows, and ensure secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure for application development. The ideal candidate will embrace a DevOps mindset where security is built-in, not added later, and will collaborate closely with development teams across the application lifecycle to deliver operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as the bridge between infrastructure, security, and development teams.
- Own and optimize the availability, performance, and capacity of applications and infrastructure with observability tools such as DataDog, New Relic, and AWS ECS.
- Provide 24/7 application and infrastructure support, while building processes and documenting key practices.
- Manage application deployment and AWS ECS platforms, automating and enhancing development and release processes.
- Build and maintain data stores and infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Lead production readiness reviews for onboarding new applications.
- Define and manage SLOs, error budgets, alerts, and conduct root cause analysis for production incidents.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application architecture and resolve bottlenecks.
- Identify observability gaps and work with stakeholders to implement fixes.
- Drive incident management, post-mortems, and implement preventive measures.
- Automate repetitive tasks and reduce manual toil.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience managing large-scale microservices and infrastructure with strong troubleshooting skills.
- Expertise in deploying and managing containerized environments (Docker, ECS).
- Hands-on experience in managing and troubleshooting AWS environments.
- Strong background in Linux administration and kernel subsystems (memory, storage, networking).
- In-depth knowledge of DNS, TCP/IP, UDP, GRPC, routing, and load balancing.
- Proficiency with GitOps, Terraform, and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Saltstack).
- Experience in CI/CD pipeline design and management.
- Exposure to multiple data stores (e.g., Redis, Elasticsearch) is a plus.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Ruby, or Go.
