We are looking for a highly skilled Team Lead – DevOps Engineer with 10+ years of experience to lead our DevOps team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Terraform, AWS, GitLab pipelines, and Cloud Cost Optimization. The role requires strong leadership capabilities, hands-on technical skills, and the ability to drive automation, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and efficient cloud cost management.
POSITION SCOPE:
- Develop and maintain scalable and automated cloud infrastructure using AWS.
- Ensure robust CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.
- Design and implement effective cloud security strategies and operations to protect data and maintain compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to assess functional needs and translate them into robust and scalable infrastructure solutions.
- Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and enhancements, and advocate for the adoption of new technologies that will benefit the organization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues across multiple domains and platforms.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Proficient with AWS cloud services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, Route53, API Gateway, and IAM.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform.
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
- Deep understanding of network architectures and cloud security protocols.
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows server environments.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Terraform Associate is desirable.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or similar.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with experience in managing technical teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
