DevOps Lead Requirement

We are looking for a DevOps Lead with relevant experience of minimum 6-8 years to implement

DevOps for our environments. You will be part of a cross-functional team that is responsible for the

full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

As a DevOps Lead, you should be comfortable around full DevOps related activities from code

management to deployment, maintenance, monitoring and upgradation in multiple environments.

You should also be a team player with a knack to learn and provide a great output. If you are also

familiar with Agile methodologies, we’d like to meet you.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Building and setting up new infrastructure preferably in On-premise / dedicated server
  
  

instances ( Linux ).

• Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to team.
• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes.
• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
• Identifying technical problems and helping in developing software updates and ‘fixes’.
• Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that deployment
  
  

follows established processes and works as intended.

• Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions.
• Managing all the deployment environment and automate the process for all new or existing
  
  

systems.

• Encourage a DevOps culture that focuses on the quality of delivery.
• Create excellent, clear, and insightful documentation ex: guidelines, best practices, how-to,
  
  

FAQs, etc.

• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize deployment
  
  

efficiency.

Basic Requirements

• At least 6-8 years of DevOps / DevSecOps / Linux System Admin experience.
• You are a hands-on Senior DevOps engineer with a focus creating systems easy to use
  
  

than over- engineering.

• Should have worked on projects that involve collaborating with multiple teams.
• You are very well versed in architectural approaches, testing, and performance when it
  
  

comes to production level deployments.

• You have a passion for building scalable and composable systems that would last long
  
  

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in configuring CI-CD using Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet etc on premise / dedicated
  
  

cloud infrastructure.

• Hands on experience in setting up /deploying distributed clustered servers ( .Net / Node.js /
  
  

Elastic etc ) and databases.

• Have worked with Source Control Systems like Azure GitHub and Artifactory.
• DevSecOps / Ensuring Security monitoring / Implementing server security.
• Knowledge to work with Microservice Deployments using Docker / Kubernetes.
• Knowledge on SaaS / Cloud based Architectures.
• Knowledge to work with OS like Windows and Linux and Databases like SQL Server , Postgres,
  
  

MongoDB.

• Have hands on experience working on clustering / containerization.
• Exposure to Single Signon tools and set up / administration of Identity and Access
  
  

Management for SaaS platforms.

Nice To Have Requirements

• DBA experience ( SQL Server / Postgres / MongoDB).
• Knowledge of ML Ops.
• Hands on experience on deploying and managing Machine Leaning Applications.
• Knowledge of Use of code quality tools line Sonar.
