Senior Managing Director (Singapore & India) at Ambition
A leading global technology-driven organization is seeking a skilled Platform / Reliability / DevOps Engineer to join its high-performance team. This is a unique opportunity to work on business-critical systems and infrastructure within a collaborative, fast-paced environment, leveraging DevOps principles and practices.
What You’ll Do:
You’ll play a key technical role in building and maintaining robust, scalable, and automated platform solutions used across the organization. This includes contributing to system design, automation of day-to-day operations, and improving platform reliability and performance. You’ll collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure systems run efficiently, securely, and at scale.
As part of the team focused on scheduling systems and high-performance compute workloads, you will also help define the architecture and improve the user experience of some of the most compute-intensive operations within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and scale automation solutions for platform infrastructure.
Develop scripts and configuration management tools to streamline routine tasks.
Contribute to architecture decisions and performance optimization initiatives.
Support and enhance orchestration systems for HPC and distributed workloads.
Maintain strong operational standards for observability, monitoring, and documentation.
What We’re Looking For:
3+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering capacity.
Proficient in Python and scripting, with hands-on Linux experience.
Strong background with orchestration or HPC scheduling tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Slurm).
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic, agile environment.
Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset.
Bonus Points For:
Familiarity with Airflow, Prefect, or similar orchestration tools.
Experience with modern CI/CD and containerization tools (e.g., GitLab, Docker, Artifactory).
Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code and automation frameworks (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
Exposure to observability platforms like Prometheus or Elasticsearch.
