Talent Worx is seeking a skilled
DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of DevOps practices and principles, combining software development and IT operations to enhance our development lifecycle and deployment processes. This role is vital in ensuring streamlined workflows, improved efficiencies in our build and deployment processes, and rapid delivery of software solutions.
As a part of our team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate our processes and ensure the highest quality standards in software delivery.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable software delivery
- Create and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Automate system configuration and deployment processes to improve overall efficiency
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure and deployments
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance underlying architectures and streamline code integration
- Implement security best practices in application and infrastructure development
- Conduct regular system upgrades, including patch management and performance tuning
- Provide technical support and guidance for teams implementing DevOps practices
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5-9 years of experience in a DevOps or related development role
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell, Ruby)
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
- Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Understanding of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Certification in DevOps practices or related technologies
- Knowledge of database administration and management
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
