The Role
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure to support application deployment and operations.
- Collaborate with development teams to create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
- Optimize application performance and scalability on Azure platforms.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices in cloud architecture.
- Leverage Azure services including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, and Azure Databricks for application development and deployment.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues, implementing solutions to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Assist in the migration of existing applications to Azure cloud.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to architecture, design, and configuration.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing, particularly within the fintech industry.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience working with Azure cloud services.
- Strong experience with cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks relevant to banking and financial services.
- Proven experience in application development and architecture in a fintech environment.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Terraform).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred, but not required:
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Azure Developer Associate.
- Azure Databricks Certification.
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration.
