Role: Principal Cloud Engineer | Senior-level
Location: Westlake, TX (Hybrid 2 weeks onsite - every month)
Duration: Long Term Contract
We’re looking for a Principal Cloud Engineer to join a team focused on fraud protection and risk evaluation. This role involves building cloud platforms, enabling CI/CD pipelines, and driving automation and resilience in distributed systems.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead cloud initiatives and support development squads with DevOps practices.
- Build and maintain scalable, resilient, highly available cloud services.
- Automate processes using Python, Bash, and Shell scripting.
- Work with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Jenkins, and AWS.
- Troubleshoot complex systems and implement observability solutions.
- Mentor peers and guide teams on best practices.
What We’re Looking For:
- 8+ years in tech roles, with leadership experience.
- Hands-on with AWS cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD (Jenkins).
- Strong Linux/Unix administration skills.
- Experience with Python, Bash, Shell scripting (Java a plus).
- Familiarity with Kafka, Aerospike, and other distributed databases.
- Skilled in secure integrations, monitoring, and cloud architecture.
