Overview
A growing fintech organization is seeking an experienced DevOps professional to join its Platform Infrastructure division. In this AVP-level role, you’ll collaborate across business units, own infrastructure projects end-to-end, and contribute to a culture of automation, scalability, and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting both applications and machine learning workflows
- Design and manage AWS infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and fully automated
- Support and evolve core cloud services such as Kubernetes clusters, API gateways, and container-based environments
- Troubleshoot production issues with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability
- Apply site reliability principles to improve system observability and resilience
- Create and enhance internal tooling that supports development teams
- Enforce best practices in cloud security and infrastructure-as-code
- Keep pace with new DevOps tools and practices, contributing ideas for continuous improvement
What You’ll Bring
- 6+ years in DevOps or SRE roles, including 4+ years working in AWS environments
- Proficiency with CI/CD tooling (e.g., GitLab, ArgoCD, Artifactory)
- Deep understanding of Linux systems and scripting for automation
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and coding skills in Python or Ruby
- Familiarity with cloud architecture, networking fundamentals, and systems integration
- Strong attention to detail and diagnostic skills in complex environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Enthusiasm for mentoring, learning, and cross-functional teamwork
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced experience with Kubernetes architecture, management, and optimization
- Exposure to microservices design and deployment strategies
- Familiarity with databases such as MongoDB, Postgres, or DynamoDB
- Experience with build systems like Maven or Rails
- Understanding of serverless solutions such as AWS Lambda
