Part-Time AWS Infrastructure / DevOps Engineer (Tulsa, OK)
CubeNexus is seeking an experienced AWS Infrastructure / DevOps Engineer (2.5 days/week, in-person in Tulsa) to own and evolve our cloud infrastructure. You’ll be our go-to expert for building, securing, and scaling our AWS environment, enabling our small engineering team to move faster while maintaining robust compliance and data capabilities.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, manage, and optimize AWS infrastructure for high performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Deploy and maintain Kubernetes clusters (EKS) for containerized workloads.
- Implement and maintain security best practices, backup, and disaster recovery processes.
- Lead infrastructure-related compliance efforts (SOC 2, AWS FTR, etc.).
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, etc.).
- Set up and manage large-scale data infrastructure, including cloud-to-cloud transfers.
- Develop and maintain data ingestion connectors for platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, and other database solutions.
- Configure and manage project tracking in Jira for infrastructure-related workflows.
- Build robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- Collaborate closely with application engineers to integrate infrastructure with development workflows.
What You Bring:
- 5+ years AWS infrastructure & DevOps experience.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS) in production environments.
- Proven track record with SOC 2 or similar compliance frameworks.
- Expertise with Terraform, CloudFormation, or other IaC tools.
- Strong knowledge of large data management systems, data migration, and integration pipelines.
- Experience building and managing connectors for Snowflake, Databricks, or similar.
- Building and launching applications in AWS marketplace, Snowflake marketplace and others
- Familiarity with Jira for project and workflow management.
- Must be U.S.-based and within driving distance of Tulsa, OK.
