*** About the Role ***
Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary on-call support during business hours for the AI coding assistant tool.
- Provide timely resolution to questions/issues raised by onshore-based LOBs.
- Collaborate with the offshore team at the start and/or end of the day for handovers and status sync.
- Establish yourself as an SME on the AI coding assistant tool to identify whether issues are internal or vendor-related.
- Participate in knowledge transfer (KT) sessions with the vendor and the offshore team.
- Test and validate new features released on the AI coding assistant tool application.
- Independently manage and troubleshoot traffic, incidents, and high-pressure situations.
- Maintain proactive monitoring and ensure system reliability and performance.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
- Proficient in AWS, Kubernetes, Python, Terraform, and Bash.
- Experience with other programming languages is a plus.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage on-call responsibilities effectively.
- Experience with any AI coding assistant tool (nice to have but not mandatory).
Nice-to-Have:
- Prior experience in L1/L2 support roles for enterprise-scale applications.
- Strong communication skills to interact with global teams and vendors.
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $130,000 – $140,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
