Junior DevOps Engineer
Location: Hybrid in Columbus, OH (4 days per week onsite / 1 day per week WFH)
Contract: 6 months on contract then converted into a fulltime employee
Brooksource is seeking entry-level DevOps Engineer to join our client in January 2026. We are hiring for multiple positions that will be part of a professional development program including technical and professional training. Minimum Requirements:
- A completed Bachelors degree received prior to January 2026
- Any form of education or displayed ability within cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure support
- A passion for growing your career in DevOps
Types of experience that are relevant:
- Experience with Python, C++, or BASH
- Previous experience working with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- Experience automating infrastructure
- Experience with basic cloud engineering or exposure to working with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Cloud Practitioner Certification
Types of responsibilities you will take on:
- Build and maintain cloud infrastructure environments
- Automate infrastructure scaling
- Maintain, upgrade, and support servers
- Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines
