bout the Role
We are looking for a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer / Cloud Platform Engineer with 3 to 6 years of experience to join our team. This role demands hands-on expertise in containerization, orchestration, cloud deployment, and automation. You will be instrumental in building scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-native solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with CI/CD pipelines and Python scripting.
What You Will Do
- Design, implement, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Deploy and monitor applications on GCP using services like GKE, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Build.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform or similar tools.
- Write Python scripts for automation, monitoring, and data processing tasks.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource usage.
What You Need to Be Successful
- 3–6 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
- Proficiency in GCP services including GKE, IAM, Cloud Storage, and Pub/Sub.
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid Python programming skills for scripting and automation.
- Familiarity with Git, Linux, and networking fundamentals.
- Understanding of security best practices in cloud and containerized environments.
Bonus Points if You Have
- Experience with Terraform, Helm, or Ansible.
- Exposure to monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
- Knowledge of other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Certifications in GCP or Kubernetes (e.g., CKA, GCP Associate Engineer).
- Experience with microservices architecture and service mesh (e.g., Istio).
