Role: Cloud & DevOps Engineer
Type: Part-Time, On-Site — Charlotte, NC
(With opportunities to transition into a full-time role)
We’re seeking a Cloud & DevOps Engineer to support and grow our infrastructure operations. This role focuses on automating deployments, securing cloud environments, and enabling scalable, reliable systems. You’ll work closely with our development team to deliver secure, efficient workflows.
Responsibilities
- Build, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
- Deploy, monitor, and scale applications using Kubernetes, Docker, and ArgoCD.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred; Azure/Google Cloud a plus).
- Work with developers to integrate security into the SDLC.
- Maintain Git/GitHub workflows and version control best practices.
- Support API development and testing.
- (Preferred) Manage containerized workloads in OpenShift environments.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Security Engineering.
- Strong background in automation and secure SDLC practices.
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services.
- Familiarity with ArgoCD and Git/GitHub workflows.
- Ability to work part-time on-site in Charlotte, NC.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
- This is a part-time position with open opportunities to transition into a full-time role.
