DevOps Engineer

Overview
Design and manage CI/CD and DevOps pipelines to support secure, scalable AI/ML deployments integrated with Data Lakes/Warehouses. Your infrastructure will enable rapid model deployment and 99.9% uptime for mission-critical federal and bioscience projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop automated CI/CD pipelines, reducing deployment time by 30%.
- Manage Kubernetes-based infrastructure for ML workloads, supporting 100+ models annually.
- Monitor system performance with tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana), ensuring 99.9% uptime.
- Ensure compliance with NIST 800-53 and FedRAMP for secure Data Lake integrations.
- Support data engineering for TB to PB datasets in secure environments.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen with active DoD, IC, or DHS clearance, or eligibility to obtain/maintain one.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or 10+ years of equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of DevOps engineering experience.
- 5+ years of Linux system administration in production environments.
- Hands-on experience with bare metal orchestration and configuration (e.g., PXE boot, MAAS, Foreman, or similar).
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized workloads.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience deploying ML models (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) in production.
- Knowledge of data engineering in secure federal environments.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK Stack).
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional.
- HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
- Proficiency with Linux system administration and shell scripting.
- Experience optimizing performance and troubleshooting issues in Linux-based production environments.
