Job Description
Primary Responsibilities: - DevOps Practices & Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability of applications.
- Maintain and optimize Kubernetes clusters in production environments, ensuring robust and resilient deployment.
- Leverage Terraform or CloudFormation to manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automate infrastructure provisioning.
- Containerization & Orchestration:
- Work with Docker for containerization, ensuring seamless container builds and deployment across multiple environments.
- Create and manage Helm charts for deploying applications to Kubernetes clusters efficiently.
- CI/CD Pipeline Development:
- Develop and maintain CI/CD workflows using Jenkins or GitHub Actions, automating the build, test, and deployment processes to support rapid release cycles.
- Monitoring & Logging:
- Implement monitoring and alerting solutions using Datadog, ensuring system performance is continuously tracked and issues are proactively identified.
- Automation & Scripting:
- Write automation scripts and tools in Python or Golang to streamline workflows, improve infrastructure efficiency, and minimize manual intervention.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve the software development lifecycle and operational workflows.
- Provide support and guidance for development teams on best practices for deployment, containerization, and cloud infrastructure.
