Role DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Senior DevOps with strong AWS knowledge candidate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications from conception to deployment, working on both client-side and server-side programming and helping on the operational and security side to stabilize and improve security/compliance of rapidly growing fintech products.
Responsibilities- Cloud & Infrastructure: Co-manage AWS and Microsoft environments; support production releases; ensure security, stability, compliance, and availability.
- Backend Development: Build and maintain scalable systems with Java/Python; design APIs and business data models; implement RESTful APIs; optimize for speed and scalability.
- Frontend Development: Design and develop web architecture using Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript; collaborate with frontend developers for integration.
- Security & Compliance: Implement security measures, data protection protocols, monitoring (DataDog); support SoC2 compliance, risk assessments, and audits.
- CI/CD & QA: Develop and maintain pipelines; ensure robust testing (manual + automated); debug, optimize, and stabilize applications.
- Collaboration: Work with US and European teams across design, DevOps, and QA; participate in code reviews; contribute to change management processes.
- IT & Operations: Assist with IT administration (Microsoft, AWS, Hetzner, back-office systems); monitor and troubleshoot production systems.
- Innovation: Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; cloud certifications (AWS/Azure DevOps).
- 3+ years building large-scale software (incl. 2+ years backend/frontend); proven work with microservices, CI/CD, and production troubleshooting.
- Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular.
- Backend: Python, Java, shell scripting, Ruby.
- Databases: SQL & NoSQL (Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
- Cloud & Infra: AWS/Azure, Terraform, CloudFormation, Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), VPC, IAM.
- APIs & Services: RESTful APIs, message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
- AI Tools: Qdrant, Ollama, Graphiti.
- Monitoring & Telemetry: DataDog, NewRelic.
- DevOps Practices: Git/GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions; agile, DevSecOps, automated deployments, infrastructure as code.
- Other Skills: Performance tuning, security, networking, debugging complex issues.
- Soft Skills: Fluent English, strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.
