They’re looking for an Associate Director, DevOps to lead that evolution: building a culture where AI, automation, and engineering-first thinking replace old-school manual processes.
This is a high-impact leadership role with a clear mandate to push IT operations into a predictive, self-healing, cloud-native future powered by AI and machine learning.
Responsibilities
- Build and execute a long-term strategy to automate IT operations with AI/ML, predictive analytics, and self-healing systems
- Drive adoption of modern SRE and DevOps practices across engineering teams
- Lead the rollout of AIOps platforms to improve observability, reduce noise, and resolve issues faster
- Eliminate manual processes and set new standards for reliability and efficiency
- Strengthen collaboration between product, DevOps, and SRE teams for full lifecycle ownership
- Modernize CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes orchestration, and cloud-native infrastructure
- Stay hands-on with architecture, code reviews, and technical decisions
Requirements
- A leadership style that blends vision with technical depth. Ability to influence, negotiate, and build consensus
- 10-15 years in DevOps and SRE, with proven success driving automation and large-scale transformation
- Proven ability to apply AI/ML to IT operations
- Deep technical experience across Java, Python, Node.js, React.js
- IaC & Observability tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, ELK, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog
- Strong track record in cloud-native design, distributed systems, and microservices/API management
- Knowledge of DevSecOps and compliance standards
- Certifications in DevOps, AIOps, cloud, or GenAI are a plus
- Experience rolling out AIOps/NoOps strategies at scale, ideally in regulated industries like financial services
