This role is pivotal in overseeing and enhancing the infrastructure, processes, and tools that support our software development and operations lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in Azure Cloud and DevOps practices, and a passion for automation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
This role will collaborate closely with software developers, architects, QA engineers, system administrators, and network engineers to build, deploy, monitor, and optimize scalable, secure, and high-performing systems.
- Lead the design and maintenance of scalable and secure infrastructure solutions on Azure and other cloud platforms.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform and automate provisioning and configuration.
- Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development, testing, and deployment processes.
- Develop monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure uptime and performance.
- Diagnose and resolve performance issues, bottlenecks, and service outages.
- Collaborate with internal security teams to ensure infrastructure meets security and compliance requirements.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and implement security best practices.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align DevOps practices with business objectives..
- Evaluate existing tools, systems, and processes to identify opportunities for enhancement.
- Document infrastructure designs, processes, and best practices.
- Conduct internal training and share knowledge to upskill team members.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Systems Engineering, or related roles.
- 3+ years of experience with cloud-based DevOps (preferably Azure).
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD tools, and automation frameworks.
- Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Docker, Azure VMs, Azure Storage, Service Bus.
- Familiarity with MS SQL, Azure SQL, and CosmosDB.
- Understanding of networking, subnets, and firewalls is beneficial.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Shell, PowerShell).
- Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform).
- Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies and version control (Git).
- Experience with monitoring and log management tools.
Nice to have Skillsets:
- Experience with Databricks, Power BI data modeling, and Microsoft Fabric is a plus.
- Background in preparing data for Data Science/Machine Learning is a plus.

Must be local to Alpharetta, GA and be willing to work a hybrid schedule on site.
