Role - AWS Cloud Engineer
Location - Durham North Carolina
Hybrid - 2 weeks onsite a month
Must Have - AWS, Terraform, IAC, Kubernetes, Python Scripting
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Passionate about working in a DevOps environment
- Experience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins
- Strong understanding and practical experience with implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) preferably using Terraform or an equivalent tool.
- Experienced with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with two or more languages – Python, Java, Groovy etc.
- Strong Unix/Linux knowledge with working experience in installing, configuring applications and resolving issues in a public cloud environment like AWS and/or Azure
- Experience installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining application software and system management tools.
- Hands-on experience configuring container and serverless applications
- Strong desire to learn and experiment with new technologies based on cloud trends
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Experience working in globally distributed teams.
Bonus Skills
- Any certification in public cloud (AWS or Azure) and/or Kubernetes in a plus
