Role Overview
You will lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of our backend cloud systems, and cloud data pipelines. Working closely with our firmware, data engineering, and machine learning teams, you’ll help bring integrated, impactful health technologies to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure and backend services
- Own infrastructure reliability, monitoring, CI/CD, and cloud deployment practices
- Operate, maintain, scale, and drive the direction of development for existing infrastructure
- Work cross-functionally with firmware, data engineering, machine learning, and product teams on system-wide architecture, cloud data pipelines, and feature development
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cloud systems development (AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar) from design to deployment
- 2+ years industry experience with Python
- Deep understanding of best practices across networking and security
- Expertise in core DevOps principles, including CI/CD, IaC, observability, and alerting.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, with the ability to write clean, reliable code
- Track record of independent problem-solving and the ability to drive projects to completion proactively
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to quickly acquire new technical skills to meet project demands
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Interest in building impactful products in the health sector
- Familiarity with a startup environment
