- Build reusable Ansible playbooks and modules to support infrastructure and application automation
- Provide hands-on guidance and mentorship to internal team members (Santos and Jeff) on best practices
- Lead efforts to improve Azure deployment capabilities, including resource provisioning, networking, and security automation
- As a DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with application owners to onboard their apps into the new pipeline
- Document architecture, processes, and automation standards for internal use
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure automation, or cloud engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Ansible in production environments
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
- Solid understanding of Azure services (VMs, networking, storage, RBAC, ARM templates or Bicep)
- Familiarity with AWS infrastructure and services
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi)
- Experience working in hybrid cloud environments
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Ability to lead modernization initiatives and drive adoption across teams
