About the Role
Mosaic ATM is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our team. This position is contingent up contract award.
Responsibilities
- Analyze the cloud infrastructure needs of the Company’s product units and transversal functions. Participate to selection and deployment of Openstack distribution (SLA, performance, support, cost).
- Design and implement private cloud infrastructure. Ensure full integration with hybrid cloud platform management layer, identity management and R&D infrastructure. Work closely with other engineering teams.
- Support the organization in maturing the infrastructure into a fully automated, service-oriented, hybrid IT. Work with automating build pipelines, migrations, security and compliance in the cloud, TCP/IP networking in the cloud and on premise, automation using Azure, and ability to script or program.
- Define, implement and manage a cloud based infrastructure. Perform tool administrative tasks and provide application support for our platform.
- Review infrastructure security holes, apply patches, create console roles and reviews, and create and install security packs as needed.
- Implement an enterprise monitoring environment using industry standard technologies: (Alert Site / Pager Duty / Microsoft Operations Management Suite (OMS), Senior Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM), Azure monitoring products, etc.).
- Transfer knowledge via documentation and training to software development organization. Establish foundation for future implementations and automation requirements in the cloud, identify opportunities for automation and develop scalable solutions.
- Develop monitoring, dashboards, escalations and alerts.
- Work closely with business technology peers and management emphasizing collaboration and joint effort to ensure that the needs and expectations of organizational stake holders, business partners, external customers, and third party organizations are met and/or exceeded
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work in a team environment that promotes collaboration
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and 4+ years industry experience
- US Citizen or otherwise fully authorized to work in the United States
Required Skills
- Must 4+ years experience
- Experience with Azure, AWS
- Experience with standard cloud technologies, Alert site, Pager, OMS, SCOM, etc.
- Cloud certification is a plus
- Masters degree is a plus
