Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our client’s team at a leading equity derivatives clearing organization. This is a highly technical, hands-on engineering role focused on building and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices in a hybrid cloud environment.

What You Will Be Accountable For
- Design, deploy, and support highly available cloud and virtualization infrastructure using IaC best practices
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and operational tasks using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins
- Manage and maintain container orchestration platforms and services including Kubernetes and OpenShift
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across hybrid cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), virtualization (VMware), and Linux systems
- Collaborate with DevOps and Application teams to integrate infrastructure into CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain infrastructure security, compliance, and resilience aligned with frameworks such as CIS and NIST
- Author and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and runbooks
- Participate in on-call rotations and production change management processes
What Qualifications You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience with infrastructure engineering, cloud computing, and automation in enterprise environments
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Ruby, knowledge of Kafka, Docker, OpenShift, and containerized application infrastructure
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub, and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
- Working knowledge of IaaS and cloud-native services across AWS and/or Azure
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex systems and troubleshoot issues under pressure
- Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally in a hybrid environment
Preferred Certifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or equivalent
- Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud certifications
