Required Skills & Experience
- 4-5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering with Azure and general cloud concepts and FinOps
- 3-4+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC): Terraform preferred, ARM, or similar Experience with the Data Layer within Azure and understanding integrations for data in the cloud (SQL, Synapse, Cosmos, Redis, etc.)
- 3-4+ years of experience with containerization with Kubernetes, understanding of helm, how to configure, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes, AKS clusters and configurations
- 3+ years of professional experience with Azure: Azure CLI, Azure Compute, Azure Well Architected Framework
- Experience with Azure to design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure solutions including: virtual machines instances, storage accounts, virtual networks, Azure AD, O365, etc.
- Experience with scripting with PowerShell, Azure CLI or similar

Job Description
A client is looking for an Azure Engineer to join their team. This is a direct hire position. This position will be hybrid onsite and, in this role, you will help this organization with their transformation moving their on-premise data centers into Azure Cloud environments. In this role you are going to be doing IAC using Terraform, Building, Validating, ensuring everything is aligned, building new environments with compute and networking. In addition, you will also work cross functionally with the DevOps team in this organization as far as deployments, pipelines, and best practices. In addition, other areas you will contribute to would be Architectural Diagrams, SOPs, collaboration with developers to help with the transformation from on prem to Azure.
