Position: AWS Developer
Duration: 6 month contract to hire
Location: Hybrid in Dublin, OH - Onsite 3-4 days per week
Pay: $55-70 per hour.
A Brief Overview
A major client of Insight Global is looking for a Cloud Engineer with a deep knowledge of the AWS stack with a serverless focus. This role is a 6 month contract with intent to convert to FTE. The developer will be responsible for building out infrastructure as code using CloudFormation and Azure DevOps, writing code in .Net Core, and supplementing monitoring using Prometheus and CloudWatch. The Engineer should be familiar with serverless patterns and architecture with a focus on event driven patterns to support highly scalable and resilient applications.
Must Haves:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing within AWS Serverless stack
- Need to be familiar with Event Bridge, SQS, SNS, Lambda, API Gateway, Dynamo DB for development.
- Need to be familiar with CloudFormation
- Not required to write from scratch but must possess a good knowledge of how to best utilize
- Experience with Azure Devops and Ansible for our deployment pipeline
- Experience with .Net Core as the preferred language for Lambda development.
- Python would be a bonus.
- Need to be familiar with Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch for monitoring and alerting stack
Compensation:
$55hr to $70/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
